Restaurant owner Ray Vega is celebrating Casa Vega's 55th birthday on Tuesday by rolling back the price of the most popular menu item, the house combination to $2.15. It's the price the restaurant charged in 1956 when Casa Vega opened its doors.
The combination comes with your choice of two items such as a beef, chicken or cheese enchilada or a beef or chicken taco along with Spanish rice and refried beans. Available from 11:30 a.m. to midnight. No reservations taken. 13301 Ventura Blvd., Sherman Oaks. 818-788-4868.
