Firefighters Contain, Extinguish Fire At San Fernando Valley Building
A fire at a Van Nuys commercial building was extinguished early Friday morning, authorities said.

VAN NUYS, CA — A fire at a one-story commercial building was put out Friday in Van Nuys.
Firefighters responded to a 911 call at 3:03 a.m. to Sherman Way Marketplace at 13624 W. Sherman Way east of Woodman Avenue where they found flames outside the building and were able to keep it from spreading to the structure's interior, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
Stewart said no injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
