Firefighters worked to free a trapped motorist inside an overturned vehicle Sunday on a Ventura (101) Freeway off-ramp in Sherman Oaks. The crash was reported at 6:18 p.m. Sunday on the Haskell Avenue off-ramp, the according to the California Highway Patrol. The off-ramp was closed as emergency crews worked to free the motorist. There was no immediate word on any injuries. -City News Service contributed to this report.
