Former Notre Dame Linebacker Transfers

Anthony McDonald, former NDHS start, will transfer from Notre Dame University.

Former Notre Dame High School linebacker Anthony McDonald has transferred from Notre Dame University to Kansas University to finish out his college career.

Charlie Weis, former Notre Dame Fighting Irish head football coach, was recently hired by the Kansas Jayhawks, and has since taken on three transfers from his former place of employment in South Bend, Indiana.

Former NDHS quarterback Dayne Crist, who also began his college career at Notre Dame University, enrolled at Kansas during this offseason as well. Crist and McDonald spent time as teammates at NDHS.

McDonald will be eligible to play for the Jayhawks in 2013. He appeared in four games last season, accruing three tackles. In three seasons at Notre Dame University, McDonald totalled 24 tackles in 28 appearances.
