LAPD Announces $50,000 Reward For Info On Fatal Hit-And-Run
On March 3, a white sedan hit a 65-year-old woman who was walking in a clearly marked crosswalk.
PANORAMA CITY, CA — LAPD is seeking any information on a fatal hit-and-run that took place around 1:10 p.m on March 3 in Panorama City.
According to LAPD, a white sedan driving east on Strathern Street was turning left onto Woodman Avenue when it struck a 65-year-old woman walking in a clearly marked crosswalk. Rather than stopping, the car fled the scene and turned onto Willard Street.
The woman was taken to a local hospital, where she died from her injuries.

Authorities believe the car was a newer Kia Optima or Toyota Corolla, with tinted windows and prior damage on the right rear bumper.
The department is offering a $50,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with knowledge about the crime is asked to call Detective Buenaventura of the Valley Traffic Division at 818-644-8034.
