Local Playwright, 16, Gets Her Play Produced
"ARC" will be performed in February in San Diego.

Elana Zeltser, a 16-year-old Sherman Oaks resident, is getting her play "ARC" produced by the Playwrights Project.
Zeltser was a winner in the California Young Playwrights contest, run by the San Diego-based group. This is the 28th year of the contest, and her work was one of six plays chosen from 149 entries.
The play will be directed by Liz Shipman. The story is about a girl named Kacey who doesn’t understand why she needs to write a paper on Joan of Arc. Kacey gets an answer when Joan, in her jail cell, appears in Kacey’s bedroom.
