Valley Man Arrested for Allegedly Pointing Laser at Police Helicopter
An LAPD air unit patrolling about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday spotted a laser light coming from a home on Arminta Avenue, police say.

A man in his early 20s was in custody Wednesday morning on suspicion of pointing a green laser light at a police helicopter flying above a North Hollywood home, according to City News Service.
A police air unit was patrolling at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday and saw a laser light coming from a home in the 11600 block of Arminta Avenue, near Troost Avenue, Los Angeles police Sgt. Ben Trask of North Hollywood Station said.
Officers went to the house and found the suspect hiding in a garage, Trask said. A laser device was found inside the garage during an investigation, police said. The suspect could face felony charges for shining a laser at an aircraft, Trask said.
