New Faces at Sherman Oaks Chamber of Commerce

Chamber welcomes new members at Wednesday breakfast.

Newly installed members of the Sherman Oaks Chamber of Commerce posed for a photo with the chamber president, Dr. Robert Cohen, at the group's Wednesday morning breakfast at Maria's Italian Kitchen.

The new members, pictured here, were orthodontist Dr. Gilda Torossian, Allstate Insurance agent John Corr, and FastFrame owner Bert Bogash.

How about that, just for joining the Sherman Oaks Chamber of Commerce, they give you a plaque! It's an extremely friendly group, and good people to network with if you do business in Sherman Oaks.

Breakfast at Maria's featured eggs cooked in olive oil, Italian sausages, pastries, fruit cocktail and coffee.

Each person who attended had a brief chance to talk about their businesses, which varied widely: There was a doctor, an orthodontist, a contractor, a bill collector and a therapist, among others.

People were having such a pleasant time, many did not feel like going to work. In fact, if someone had suggested, "Let's go to the beach," there's a good chance they would have headed out to the cool, blue Pacific.
