Sherman Oaks Has New Gang Enforcement Sergeant

The new sergeant in charge of gang enforcement talks about reduction in gang crime.

Sherman Oaks is now the largest community served by the Van Nuys Division of the Los Angeles Police Department. Crimes committed by gang members have declined in recent months, and that is partly due to the "gang injunction" issued by the courts, according to Sgt. Ron Fisher,  the new head of the Gang Enforcement Detail at Van Nuys Division.

Fisher explained how the gang injunction works in this video interview with Sherman Oaks Patch Editor Doug Kriegel.
