Tesla Driver Kills Homeless Man, Flees In Hit-And-Run: Reports

LOS ANGELES — A homeless man was killed in a hit-and-run crash overnight in Sherman Oaks, according to police.

The incident occurred shortly after midnight Sunday, when a black Tesla traveling south on the 4900 block of Van Nuys Boulevard fatally struck a pedestrian believed to be in his 60s, and fled, not stopping, police said.

The man was unhoused and was standing in the road at the time of the crash, according to KTLA.
