Sunday Open Houses in Sherman Oaks Include a Celebrity Property

The Sherman Oaks property where the late actress Jane Russell lived with her husband, 1950s Rams quarterback Bob Waterfield, is up for sale and open this weekend. The house itself was torn down several years ago and an 8,000-square-foot home was built on the large hillside lot.

The house on Round Valley Drive in the Sherman Oaks hills has seven bedrooms and six baths, and it has been used as a location for cable television shows-which annoyed the neighborhors as we reported in our story about Round Valley Drive residents starting a petition drive to keep out noisy productions.
