Two Injured In Van Nuys Vegetation Fire

VAN NUYS, CA — A fire in the Sepulveda basin left two people with minor injuries Tuesday morning. The fire burned about an eighth of an acre of vegetation in the 15700 block of West Burbank Boulevard.

Firefighters came to the scene around 6:26 a.m. and extinguished the flames in about 30 minutes, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The cause of the fire wasn't immediately known.
