The Valley Of Change To Host 'Feed Our Friends In Need' Saturday
The food distribution events will take place on the second Saturday of each month.
SHERMAN OAKS, CA — The Valley of Change will host their third 'Feed Our Friends in Need' event this Saturday to distribute food to the unhoused community in Sherman Oaks. The food drive will take place at Van Nuys Sherman Oaks Park at 8:30 a.m.
People with food to spare are encouraged to drop sealed snacks, beverages, fruit and other items during the daily protests at the corner of the Sherman Oaks Galleria. You can also donate to the group's Venmo @TheValleyOfChange.
"These events bring us so much joy; getting to collaborate with the community for those who really need our help right now is a great privilege," the organization shared on Instagram. "Thank you for your continued commitment and participation in our Feed our Friends in Need events!!! We are so grateful for you all."

Valley of Change will be distributing lunches every second Saturday of the month from now on. All are welcome to come, and signups are not required.
