30-Foot Condo Project on Sierra Madre Planning Commission Agenda Thursday

The condo project, along with another plan to take down a single family home and put in two units, will be reviewed at Thursday's Planning Commission meeting.

There are two projects on the Sierra Madre Planning Commission agenda this week that would add additional housing units to properties in the city, including review of a plan to build a 30-foot-tall seven-unit condo project on Mariposa Avenue.

That project, at 407-413 Mariposa, would entail knocking down five existing units and adding the seven-unit project.  It would also mean 17 parking spaces.

The second project is a smaller one, the destruction of an existing single family home at 215 N. Baldwin Avenue to put two units on the property.  That project was reviewed at the last commission meeting as well.

The meeting is at 7 p.m. on Thursday at City Hall.
