Mother Moo Creamery Named to L.A. Weekly's Top 10 Ice Cream List

Sierra Madre's Mother Moo Creamery was recognized this week on LA Weekly’s list of 10 Best Ice Cream and Gelato Shops in Los Angeles.

The site writes of the Sierra Madre business:

The ice creams served daily are in small batches due to limited space. But there's no shortage of exciting ice cream choices, from cornflakes (gluten-free) and black pepper to orange blossom cardamom and the beer-flavored "last call."
Mother Moo's comes in at number six out of 10 on the list.  Also placing high on the list were two other nearby establishments - Pasadena's Carmela's Ice Cream at number three and Altadena's Bulgarini Gelato at number two.

Karen Klemens, the owner of Mother Moo's, produced and sold her own line of jams and jellies at several Altadena events prior to opening the shop in 2011.
