Lynwood is home to the SYFL (Snoop Youth Football League) Super Bowl Champions!

Last Monday (December 27) the Lynwood Jr. Knights U13 team beat the Inglewood Chargers 19-6 to become the champions! Even better – the game was played at SoFi Stadium, allowing the players to play on the same field as NFL players and visit the Los Angeles Rams locker room.

Last night, the Lynwood City Council honored the Lynwood Jr. Knights U13 players, coaches and organizers for this amazing accomplishment.

This weekend, the team is traveling to Las Vegas to compete in the National Championship.

Congratulations to the Lynwood Jr. Knights U13 team! The City of Lynwood is so proud of you!
