Man Shot, Killed in Florence-Firestone ID'd as Frederick Castro

LOS ANGELES, CA - Authorities on Monday identified a man who was fatally shot in the unincorporated Florence-Firestone area.
The shooting happened about 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of East 59th Place, Deputy Sara Rodriguez of the Sheriff's Information Bureau said.
Frederick Castro, 23, of Los Angeles died at a hospital, coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter said. No arrests were reported.
