None Seriously Injured in Lynwood Deputy Involved Collision

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) has told Patch that the deputy involved crash that took place at around 3 p.m. on July 2, 2013, resulted in no serious injuries.

“Everybody is fine,” said Lieutenant Ernie Chavez of the LASD Century station. “Only a couple of bumps and bruises on our deputy.”

The officer was in route to an emergency domestic disturbance call when the two-car collision took place near the intersection of Long Beach Boulevard and Elisabeth Avenue.

 The driver in the other vehicle sustained no injuries, according to Lt. Chavez.
