Powerball Lottery Ticket Worth Nearly $1M Sold in Southland
The ticket matching five numbers was sold at a gas station in the city of Commerce. Was it yours?

A ticket with five numbers in Wednesday night's drawing of the multi-state Powerball lottery, but missing the Powerball number, was sold at a gasoline station in Commerce and is worth $771,194.
A ticket with all six numbers was sold in Florida and is worth $292 million, the Multi-State Lottery Association, which conducts the game, announced.
The numbers drawn Wednesday night were 12, 13, 44, 52, 62 and the Powerball number was 6.

The drawing was the 14th since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number is 1 in about 293 million, according to the Powerball website. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 24.87.

The Powerball game is played in 44 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.
The jackpot for Saturday's drawing will be $40 million.
