The boy has been missing for several days and has not been taking his medication.

MONTEBELLO, CA - The search was on Wednesday for a missing 15-year-old Montebello boy who has not taken his medication in several days and texted his mother that "he felt like dying," according to Montebello police.

The boy, identified only as Ismael, has attempted suicide in the past. He was reported missing Saturday after failing to return home from a walk, but has sent texts to his mother, according to police.

Ismael is black, 6 feet tall, weighs about 130 pounds, has brown eyes, and is unshaven with black curtly hair. He frequents the Montebello Skatepark and the Whittier Boulevard area in East Los Angeles, police said.
