Southeast LA Resident Killed in Motorcycle Crash
Daniel Soto died in a road between Bakersfield and Lake Isabella.
HUNTINGTON PARK (CNS) - The Kern County coroner's office today released the name of a Huntington Park man killed when he crashed his motorcycle on the winding canyon road between Bakersfield and Lake Isabella.
The man has been identified as 39-year-old Daniel Soto, Deputy Kern County Coroner Stephanie Medina said.
The crash was on eastbound State Highway 178 near the Lower Rich Bar campground in the Kern River Canyon. It was reported to the CHP at 7:10 p.m. Saturday.

Soto was riding a 2003 Honda 600 motorcycle when he failed to negotiate a left curve in the roadway, allowing the bike to drift off the right shoulder and into the side of a mountain. He died at the scene, according to the CHP.
