The Orange County average price has increased five consecutive days after decreasing 20 times in 21 days.

The increasing pump prices follow a rise in the wholesale gasoline price which analysts attribute to record low stockpiles of gasoline stemming from a drop in production caused by both scheduled refinery repairs and unplanned unit shutdowns.
