Three burglary suspects barricaded themselves in a Paramount residence for about three hours today before surrendering to a SWAT team.
The suspects were taken into custody early this afternoon in the 13600 block of Racine Avenue, according to South Gate police Capt. Darren Arakawa. Their names were not immediately released.
A South Gate resident called police this morning to report that he had interrupted a burglary in his garage, and the investigation led to the Paramount residence, Arakawa said.
