Equipment Failure Left Thousands in South Pasadena in the Dark
The outage was reported about 1 p.m. Saturday and initially effected 4,264 customers. Power was fully restored three hours later.

SOUTH PASADENA, CA - An overhead equipment failure left more than 4,000 customers in the South Pasadena area without electricity for at least three hours, a utility spokesperson said Sunday.
The outage was reported about 1 p.m. Saturday and initially effected 4,264 customers, most in South Pasadena and some in Alhambra, according to Daniel Yee of Southern California Edison.
About 1,600 customers were still without power at 2 p.m. Saturday, and power was fully restored two hours later, Yee said.
