A fresh-farm eatery called Girasol is taking the place of 8 1/2 Taverna in Tujunga Village, according to EaterWire.
The Italian restaurant lasted about a year and then the place closed up. Neighbors thought for a while it was for a film shoot, but the restaurant never reopened.
