Afternoon Earthquake Felt in Studio City
The 3.0 was centered in Marina del Rey.

A magnitude-3.0 earthquake centered one mile southeast of Marina del Rey jolted the Southland today, but there were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
The quake struck at 2:08 p.m. two miles north of El Segundo and three miles west of Inglewood, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
Teachers and students felt it at Walter Reed Middle School, but there was no damage.

The temblor delivered a quick jolt that could be felt in West Los Angeles, Hollywood, Redondo Beach and Studio City.
Two other recent Southland earthquakes were also centered in Marina del Rey. A magnitude-2.8 quake struck around 8 p.m. April 28, and a magnitude-3.2 quake hit in the area around 8 p.m. April 26.
