Mary Woronov, painter, author and actor joined Andy Warhol’s Factory where she acted in several movies including his well known, Chelsea Girls.
In the '70s she moved to Los Angeles and started collaborating with contemporary artists including Bruce Yonemoto and Mike Kelley. With this move west her paintings became even more vibrant and expressive, rivaling the conceptualism employed by many of her peers. She has written five books on “Imaginary Fiction” and has two more being published: Confessions of a Cult Queen and Mother. Currently a feature length documentary film is being made of her by Minx Films.
