Candlelight Tribute to Zac Planned for Sunday Night—2 Years After Shooting
Everyone is welcome, according to mom.

Zac Champommier’s is once again planning a candlelight vigil on Sunday night, on the second anniversary of the day her in a Studio City parking lot.
Along with the former high school friends of her son, and other family members, she plans to remember her son on the corner of Ventura Boulevard and Laurel Canyon Avenue not far from where he son was mistakenly shot by undercover officers behind the Chipotle’s restaurant half a block away.

This Sunday, June 24th will mark the two year anniversay of Zac's murder. Mark and I will be holding a candlelight vigil to remember Zac. We will meet on the corner of Ventura Blvd and Laurel Canyon between 8:45 and 9:00 pm. From there, we will walk to the parking lot. I will bring a supply of candles or you can bring your own. Everyone is welcome.
Families and friends have held vigils in the past, demanding also some response and acknowledging some responsibilty over the death of her son. (See.)
