Cars Hit by Water Balloons Around Beeman Park
Residents report juvenile pranks around the area that could prove dangerous.

Some juvenile pranks could result in danger for drivers.
A couple driving down Beeman across from the Studio City Recreation Center said their car was hit by a water balloon.
A woman said, "My hubby and I were driving down Beeman (we were right across from the park) when our car was hit by a water balloon.I saw the person running away, but it was 8 p.m. and dark and we were heading south down the street. The size of the person looked like a teen (my assumption)."

The woman whose car was hit said she thought about walking the neighborhood to speak with parents.
Other Studio City Patch readers were concerned about frequent police presence over the last week at Babcock near the park, and on Sarah and Beeman. They wondered if there should be cause for alarm.

The two to three police cars gathered in the area were not a response to a particular call, said Senior Lead Officer Mike Lewis.
Another resident on Sarah, west of Beeman, said that there was some concern recently when three police cars were patrolling the area.
Lewis said there was no particular major incident there, and figures one of the officers knew someone in the area.
If you see anything suspicious, contact the police.
