Dylan Bocanegra's Art Hangs on the Walls of the Famous

Commissioned pieces for Maria Shriver, Sen. Alex Padilla, Sheriff Lee Baca and many other notables have Dylan's work hanging in their homes and offices.

just entered the Art Center College of Design this semester (where he is one of the youngest students in the school), and has received a lot of praise recently for his work.

This past Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, this 19-year-old Studio City youth presented a Martin Luther King/Harvey Milk piece to California State Senator Alex Padilla and it now hangs in Curtis Porter's Youth & Family Services for U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services in Washington, D.C.

Former First Lady of California Maria Shriver was gifted a commissioned piece from her California Highway Patrol protective team on Gov.  Jerry Brown's inauguration day.  A few scholarships came through to help with an expensive private college and a good soul stepped forward to help with some classes and materials.

His proud mom, Eva-Marie Fredric, said, "This young man is an example of many programs within our community that help shape and build character."

He received a declaration from Sheriff Lee Baca's office in his first and only art show at restaurant, and the theme was Cancer, Education & Racism.  Dr. Ernie Bodai, mastermind of breast cancer stamp flew in to speak to people for free and Louis Gossett, Jr. came for his Eracism Foundation.
