The 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF VAN NUYS!!! Great information for all who want to appreciate not only the history of Van Nuys, but the entire San Fernando Valley. The story of "The Town That Was Started Right" is fantastic!
THE MUSEUM OF THE SAN FERNANDO VALLEY
There is metered parking for more than the length of the tour on the West side of Tyrone Avenue (1 long block East of Van Nuys Boulevard, South of Sylvan Street). Or you can park on Sylvan Street 2 blocks west of Van Nuys Boulevard. The time limit there is 2 hours and the tour is 2.5 hours. It is a residential block and near where we end the tour. You take a chance for that last half hour, but we have never been ticketed there.
