Summertime's Begun: Graduating Elementary School, See VIDEO of Speeches

Valley View's sixth graders move on.

Principal Susan Kim of Valley View Elementary School was nostaligic about the 10 graduating sixth graders who are leaving the school. Some have been there since Kindergarten, seven years.

"You have shown so many positive qualities, and I thank you parents," Kim said. "This is not an end, but actually a beginning. It is the future."

The small graduating group is relieved to be going to middle school, but many of them are going different directions, from Bancroft Middle School in Hollywood to Walter Reed Middle School in Studio City.
