Land Use Committee Suggests Limited Hours for Pagliacci's

The committee sticks to standard recommendations.

The of the Studio City Neighborhood Council disagreed with a request by the owners of shop at 4366 N. Coldwater Canyon Ave. for beer and wine service until 2 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays and until midnight on all other days.

Some of the members on the advisory committee said they didn't think the restaurant at Moorpark and Coldwater should serve beer and wine from Sunday through Thursdays from 10 a.m. to midnight and 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

"It's close to a residential area, and not like it's on Ventura Bouelvard," said Kristina Hope, who is on the committee.

Land Use Chair Lisa Sarkin expressed concern about the small outdoor area that is supposed to have a dozen seats and three umbrellas. "I don't know how they will even move, the area seems so small," she said.

The committee said they would hand back their one-page list of recommendations for on-sale alcoholic beverage licenses in Studio City that they give to all prospective bars and restaurants. Those recommendations suggest that alcholic beverage sales end at 10:30 p.m. and close by 11 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and end the sales at 12:30 a.m. and close by 1 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
