Man Bites Passengers On LA-NYC Flight: Report

LOS ANGELES, CA -- A man was detained after he reportedly bit passengers during a JetBlue flight from Los Angeles to New York City. The incident, which happened last Sunday, was captured on video obtained by CBS LA.

The news station said he began biting the passengers close to him then bit doctors on the flight who tried to help him.

"Doctors on the flight tried to help by examining the passenger, but were also attacked. Another passenger said he jumped in to help restrain the man," CBS LA reported.

The incident caused the pilot to make a stop in Las Vegas where he was detained by police. However, police told the Las Vegas Sun that he was not arrested.
