Miranda Finn of the Bald Barbie Movement Wins 'Make It Reel' Contest

The 12-year-old singer and songwriter is from Sherman Oaks.

Miranda Finn has been making waves ever since her original song, “Maybe I Can Change This World,” was selected to be the theme song for the Bald Barbie movement.

Two women affected by cancer started the Bald Barbie movement. They wanted their daughters to have a doll they could relate to and began mobilizing on Facebook to get Mattel to produce it. They succeeded last fall—and Miranda Finn’s song helped galvanize support for their movement.

The 12-year-old singer/songwriter is the recent winner of CAP Studios “Make It Reel” contest.
