With a polished precise penetrating piercing production from celebrated playwright Levi Holloway (Broadway’s Grey House), originally directed by Punchdrunk’s Felix Barrett (Sleep No More), restaged by Levi Holloway, and illusions by Tony Award-winner Chris Fisher (Stranger Things: The First Shadow, Harry Potter & The Cursed Child), a haunting time is guaranteed for all!

Accomplished acclaimed artist Fisher, is the wizard behind the curtain with his proficient pristine peerless powerful presentation. Fisher is a master magician, the epitome of excellence in his field, with credits that demonstrate his exemplary expertise (Broadway and West End productions of Stranger Things: The First Shadow for which he won the 2025 Special Tony Award for Illusions and Technical Effects; Harry Potter and the Cursed Child; and Back to the Future: The Musical, to name a few).

In speaking to the Ahmanson Performances magazine, Fisher revealed how he collaborates with every single department including lights, sound, props, costumes to get what he needs for each illusion. "The process always begins with the story," he divulges. "Then it's time to test. And revise. And test. And revise. When you've seen an illusion once, you can never see it in the same way again."

According to Fisher, "Anyone can go out and buy a magic trick and show it to someone, but it's how you perform that trick, how you weave a story into that trick. That's what makes it magic."

Fisher praised lead actors Heusinger and Alvarez for the chemistry between their married characters making it easier for the audience to believe the illusions they perform. "If you've got a believable couple on stage, you get drawn into the mundaneness of it, Fisher said. There's...things that make you think, 'Oh, I can relax again.' Bang! That's where you get the big reactions!"

He credits the Jaws effect. "It's scarier hearing the music and seeing the fin of the shark than seeing the mechanical head of the shark coming out of the water," Fisher elaborates. "It's ramping up the tensions and putting something in your head that is often scarier than showing you something. Your brain will go to more places than you can see on stage."

Needless to say, it's best to find out for yourself because when the house lights go down, expect a frightfully fine fantabulously fun time!
