Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

Reason for recognition: Last November, Barbara took on the enormous responsibility of running the North Hollywood Interfaith Food Pantry. She is a volunteer who gives selflessly back to her community.

One thing to know: Barbara cares deeply about the hungry people in her community. It's vitally important to her to make sure no one goes hungry no matter the circumstances.
