Studio City History Displayed on Wells Fargo Mosaic Wall
After years of delay the mosaic is finally complete.
A mosaic showing Studio City history in three different scenes has been completed at the Wells Fargo near the intersection of Ventura Boulevard and Coldwater Canyon.
The mosaic was originally approved in 2009, according to Wells Fargo developers Rob Jackovitz and Paul Kielsmeier, who are also working on turning a former Blockbuster store into a at Vineland Avenue and Ventura Boulevard on the other end of Studio City.
Plans were approved then postpostponed, then the bank got the permit. "We had to have these manufactured, these are not stock items, it took quite a while," Kielsmeier said.

Studio City Neighborhood Council Land Use Committee Chairperson Lisa Sarkin said, "We are happy with the mosaics, they are even better than what was promised."
Kielsmeier said the Republic Pictures at the front (Ventura Boulevard) side of the bank is a "nice representation of Studio City history."
