They Call it the Ed Begley Jr. of Galaxies—
The recycling galaxy is six billion light years away.

Astronomers found a galaxy about six billion light years away that they're dubbing the "Ed Begley Jr. of galaxies."
That's according to a story in The Christian Science Monitor, where a new galaxy is converting hydrogeng gas into stars at a rate hundreds of times that of our galaxy with almost 100 percent efficiency.
According the story, it came from NASA's Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE) technology, and it is as bright as a trillion suns.
