Trunk Line Along Coldwater is Nearly One-Quarter of the Way Done
Here is the latest update from the Department of Water and Power.
By the end of the month, the LA DWP trunk line project will be done with work along Coldwater Canyon between Van Noord Avenue and Hacienda Drive.
In a periodic update of the construction project, Construction Engineering Supervisor Todd P. Le of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power reported that the overall project is 23.2 percent complete and is anticipated to be completed in September 2015.
But, the heavy flagging and construction will continue between 9 a.m. and 3:30 during the week and 8 a.m. to 3:30 on Saturdays, according to Le.

An LADWP Trunk Line Construction crew is working on Coldwater Canyon Avenue, between Van Noord Avenue and Hacienda Drive. Construction in this work zone is expected to be completed the week of September 24, 2012. Once completed, the LADWP crew will restore the work zone and move to the next work zone, immediately south of the current work zone on the west side of Coldwater Canyon Avenue.
As usual, cars can expect delays along Coldwater Canyon and they advise: Please avoid the area or use alternate routes.
Le added, "As common with any large construction project, work will be noisy and dusty at times. We will try to keep both to a minimum."
