Universal Studios Hollywood Announces 'Taste Of Universal'
The theme park will reopen for dining and shopping at some of their most popular areas within the park.

STUDIO CITY, CA — Universal Studios Hollywood will begin their reopening process with "Taste of Universal," offering shopping and outdoor dining on parts of the studio lot. Patrons can visit restaurants from various lands within the theme park, on select Friday-Sundays from 12 - 7 p.m.
"Taste of Universal will begin March 12. Tickets will allow access to "Springfield, U.S.A.," "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter," "All New - Minion Cafe," and "Hollywood and Dine." where guests can eat an outdoor feast and take advantage of photo and shopping opportunities.
Friday adult tickets are $44, while Saturday and Sunday tickets will cost $49. Tickets for kids aged 3-9 will cost $25.

Rides and other attractions will remain closed due to coronavirus health guidelines.
"Hungry for Universal? Get a taste of what you’ve been missing at Taste of Universal, an all-new, limited-time outdoor dining event for a day of exceptional food in some of your favorite themed lands," Universal Studios said.

The theme park will rehire several hundred workers who were furloughed during the pandemic, according to the Los Angeles Times. Universal CityWalk has been open since June 20.
Universal Studios is the latest theme park to begin a partial reopening centered around dining. In February, Disneyland announced their "Touch of Disney" event, which features festive dining and photo-ops with costumed characters.
