Wendy Greuel Hopes to Raise $20,000 by End of Month

Wendy Greuel of Studio City, who is running to be the first female mayor of Los Angeles, and the first from the San Fernando Valley, said she will be hitting an important milestone in the next 10 days.

The campaign is trying to close out the six-month fundraising report by raising $20,000 by June 30 in order to show "the strength of our campaign."

She writes:

Every time I’ve put my supporters to the test—they’ve met the challenge. Will you please donate $25 right now to help us reach our goal before the end of the month?

The papers and blogs are saying we’ve got the momentum, but I’m not taking anything for granted.

I’ve been traveling the city day and night, meeting people from the Valley to South L.A., from Highland Park to West L.A. – and they are ready to elect our first woman Mayor.
