2 Arrested, Gun Recovered After Weed Deal Turns Violent
Police detained two people in the North Bay and recovered a handgun after an argument and fight broke out during a marijuana transaction.

NORTH BAY, CA -- Police officers in Solano County detained two people and recovered a handgun on the night of Feb. 13 when they responded to a fight in the 500 block of Eider Lane in Suisun City.
At about 11:15 pm on Monday, Feb. 13, Suisun City Police officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Eider Lane for a report of a fistfight. Officers arriving on scene detained two people who were physically fighting and recovered a handgun.
Based upon their preliminary investigation, police say they believe one of the people involved went to the location to sell marijuana when an argument began between the seller and two buyers. One buyer then pointed a handgun at the seller and a threat was made demanding the marijuana.

A physical fight occurred and the handgun discharged, but police say there are no indications it struck anyone.
One of the suspected buyers, Emil Jackson, 19, Vacaville, was arrested on probable cause for multiple felony charges and booked into the Solano County Jail. Officers are following up on leads on the second suspect.
