3 Killed In Crash After Police Chase In Fairfield: Authorities
The vehicle was wanted in connection with a carjacking in Vallejo, police said.
FAIRFIELD, CA — Three people died in an overnight crash following a police chase in Fairfield, according to authorities.
The incident began around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday when state patrol tried to stop a stolen white Hyundai headed east on Interstate 80 near American Canyon Road, police said. The vehicle was wanted in connection with a carjacking Tuesday in Vallejo and the driver failed to yield, resulting in a pursuit, police said.
The Hyundai left the interstate at Suisun Valley Road while speeding and rolled over in a crash that killed its three occupants, according to police.
