Arrest Made in Cellphone Strong-Arm Robbery
Fairfield Police are searching for two other suspects.

Fairfield police have arrested one suspect and are seeking twoΒ others believed to have robbed a victim of his cellphoneΒ on Monday.
At aboutΒ 10:20 a.m. Monday, the victim called Fairfield police to
report that the suspects had stolen his cellphone in a strong-arm robbery inΒ Suisun City and that he had followed them to Fairfield, police said.
The suspects were driving a brown 1987 Toyota Corolla and parkedΒ it in the 100 block of Villa Circle in Fairfield, according to police.
Officers responded to that block, and the suspects fled north onΒ foot, climbing over fences into a residential neighborhood, police said.
Ground units and a CHP helicopter scoured the neighborhood for theΒ suspects, and one was located on a roof in the 1200 block of MeadowlarkΒ Drive.
He was taken into custody and identified as 19-year-old JakkariΒ Sampson, of Dixon, police said. He was found to be in possession of theΒ victim's cellphone.
Sampson was arrested for possession of stolen property andΒ robbery, police said. The other two suspects were not located.
The suspects' vehicle was reported stolen out of Vallejo onΒ Sunday, and the trio is believed to have taken it during an armed carjacking,Β Fairfield police said.
