As Supreme Court Contemplates Same-Sex Marriage, Locals Will Rally in Fairfield

Area residents will gather in front of the Solano Government Center Tuesday night at 6 p.m. to "show support for a fair decision from the Supreme Court" as it relates to gay marriage. 

Specifically, the high court will be hearing arguments in regard to California's Proposition 8 and the Defense of Marriage Act. 

"Wednesday there will be the arguments contesting the constitutionality of DOMA," says the description of a Facebook page that has been launched in support of the rally. "Polls show that over half of the country now supports Marriage Equality..."
