Fairfield DUI Checkpoint Set For Friday Night
Fairfield Police announce they will be conducting a DUI/Drivers License Checkpoint on Friday, April 22 at an undisclosed location.

FAIRFIELD -Β Fairfield Police have announced they will be conducting a DUI/Drivers License Checkpoint this Friday, April 22 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m.
The location is unannounced.
Officers say they will be looking for signs of alcohol and/or drug impairment, and checking drivers for proper licensing.

For those who want to drink, police recommend the California Office of Traffic Safety DDVIP (Designated Driver VIP) mobile app, available for free download on iOS and Android devices.
The app allows users to βMap a Spotβ with their current location to find DDVIP partnering establishments in their area or a βList of Spotsβ to search all participating bars and restaurants throughout California, according to officials.
