Fairfield PAL members selected for holiday treat!

Fairfield Suisun Rotary Partners with Ace Hardware to Create a "HapPIE Thanksgiving" for Fairfield PAL Members

This Thanksgiving, 40 amazing teens from the Fairfield Police Activities League (PAL) will have a little extra to be thankful for, thanks to a partnership between the Fairfield Suisun Rotary, Ace Hardware in Suisun, and Food 4 Less. The initiative, dubbed "HapPIE Thanksgiving," is designed to show appreciation for the outstanding volunteer efforts and extraordinary kindness demonstrated by these PAL members, who have been selected for their leadership qualities and positive impact on the community.

Each selected Fairfield PAL member will receive a handmade, locally crafted pie from The Pie Company, as well as a $50 gift card to Food 4 Less, helping them and their families celebrate the holiday with some extra cheer. The pies, made with only the freshest local ingredients, are a special treat only available at Ace Hardware in Suisun, located at 250 Sunset Ave. Since 2008, The Pie Company has been known for their delicious, hand-crafted pies that bring joy to the community, and this collaboration brings a slice of that joy to these teens and their families.

The Fairfield Suisun Rotary is part of the global Rotary organization, whose mission is to build goodwill and peace in the world. With the motto "We change the world, for good!" the Rotary club strives to support local communities through service, education, and leadership initiatives that inspire positive change. As part of its ongoing mission, the Rotary provides monthly dinners at the Fairfield PAL Teen Center, creating opportunities for teens to connect and network with local adult leaders-- strengthening their sense of community. This Thanksgiving, the Rotary is helping to ensure that Fairfield PAL members have not only a really yummy holiday treat, but also a tangible reminder that they are valued and appreciated.
