Fairfield PD Holds Open House

From Fairfield Police Department:

The Fairfield Police Department will be hosting an Open House Event at the Art Koch Range and Training Facility on Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 11 am until 4 pm. Members from every area of the Police Department will be on hand to meet and talk with the community. Visitors will be able to tour the Training Facility and attend several informational Q&A sessions. In addition, visitors will have the opportunity to:

• Get to know your Police Officers, Command Staff, Supervisors, Explorers and Volunteers.
• Meet members of our SWAT Team and explore their vehicles and equipment
• Talk with our Traffic Unit, see their equipment, and watch as they showcase their low speed skills on a Police Motorcycle
• Learn about the dangers of driving while impaired with our Impaired Driving Simulator
• Visit our information booths and speak with members of our Crime Prevention Unit, Homeless Intervention Team, Code Enforcement Unit, Family Violence Unit, and Youth Services / Police Athletic League
• Visit with our Crime Scene Investigation Unit and participate in their interactive displays.
• Watch K-9 demonstrations and meet our K-9 Teams
• Bring your kids to our Operation 10 Fingerprinting program
• Stop by our Recruiting booth and learn how to join our PD Team!
• Enjoy lunch courtesy of the Fairfield Police Officers Association
