Grass Fire Destroys Several Vehicles At Fairfield Auto Shop
A vegetation fire that broke out south of Armijo High School spread to an auto shop, destroying several vehicles stored at the business.
FAIRFIELD, CA β A two-alarm vegetation fire beside the railroad tracks south of Armijo High School in Fairfield spread to a nearby automotive shop, destroying several vehicles stored at the business, Fairfield firefighters said Sunday night on social media.
The fire in the open field between the railroad tracks and businesses at the end of the 300 block of State Street was called in at approximately 4 p.m. Sunday. The flames later spread to the adjacent vehicle storage area, the Fairfield Fire Department said on Twitter.
No injuries were immediately reported. Further information was not available Sunday night.
